1. Do you provide oak woodgrain aluminium ?

2. What is the width of the sealed glass unit on your windows and doors ?

Our standard is 32 mm or 24 mm width sealed glass units.

3. What is your glazing standard ?

Our glazing standard is Factory Glazed with 4 mm Clear Toughened with Pilkington "K" glass x 24 mm Argon Gas Cavity x 4 mm Clear Toughened Sealed Units to comply with Building Regulations for Safety and Thermal Efficiency, quality in accordance with the GGF standards.

4. Do you provide any colour on the aluminium ?

Yes, any colour available within RAL palette => http://www.konsmetal.com.pl/kolor_ral.htm. Our products based on German TS aluminium system are oryginally coloured in Germany.

5. What kind of aluminium system do you use and does it comply with all UK and EU heat loss standards ?

We use Swidish or German aluminium system depending on product and engineering requirements. There is SAPA ( Swidish) 74 mm or 56 mm Thermally Broken Aluminium Folding Sliding Door System or TS (Germany) 59 mm or 70 mm Thermally Broken Aluminium System for Roofs, Folding and Sliding doors. Our roofs are based on the best on the market German TS aluminium system.

6. Does your glass comply with all the UK heat loss standards etc ?

We provide Pilkington "K" glass and double 32 mm or 24 mm glazing with Argon Gas Cavity which complies with all the UK and UE Safety and heat loss standards.

7. What is your frame finishes ?

Polyester Powder Coated White to RAL 9016 or to any other RAL colour. Please check up with http://www.konsmetal.com.pl/kolor_ral.htm. Our products based on German TS aluminium system are oryginally coloured in Germany.

8. Do you provide any special prevention for aluminium colour at shoreline ?

Yes, we provide Marine Grade paint finish if less than 5000m from shoreline, please ask for details and additional cost.

9. Do you provide Toughened glass ?

Yes, we provide toughened glass within folding, sliding doors, roofs and windows.

10. Do you provide glass roofs and roof's windows ?

Yes, we provide aluminium glass roofs based on German aluminium system with roof's sliding or opened outwards windows.

11. How many panels can I have within folding door and how they could be opened ?

You can have up to 7 panels within folding door, each maximum of 1150 mm to fold and stack either inside or outside (opened either outwards or inwards). Certainly all panels together could be folded to the right hand side or left hand side. When we define direction to fold/slide we are looking always from outside (from the garden to the house). There are also many others opening kinds like two panels to the right and two the the left hand side, please ask about details.

12. How many panels can I have within sliding door ?

You can have up to 6 panels within sliding door each of 1100mm.

13. What is the maximum hight of folding door ?

The maximum hight of folding door is 2700 mm.

14. What is the maximum width of folding door ?

The maximum width of folding door is 7500 mm.

15. Can you provide the equivalent of Pilkington Activ – Self cleaning ?

Yes, we can provide Pilkington Activ itself or equivalent.

16. Can you provide burglar resistance glass and locks ?

Yes, we provide P4 and P2 burglar resistance glass and locks within our doors and windows.

17. Do you provide windows and doors with blinds in the sealed glass units ?

Yes, we provide magnetic run blinds in sealed glass units. You can choose blinds in colours gold, plain beige, silver or blue.

18. Do you use Pilklington "K" Glass in your products ?

Yes, we use Pilklington "K" Glass in our products.

19. Do you provide Spy Glass (mirror effect glass, privacy) in your products ?

Yes, we provide privacy Spy Glass with mirror effect.

20. Do you provide tinted glass with colours ?

Yes, we provide tinted glass with blue, grey, brown and green colour.

21. Do you provide tinted glass with reflex cover (almost privacy effect) ?

Yes, we provide tinted glass in blue, green, grey and brown colour.

22. What is the difference between TS (German) and SAPA (Swidish) folding door system ?

SAPA folding door system is working based on suspended moving mechanism (upper running) and TS (Germany) based on bottom running (supported moving mechanism).

23. What is the difference between TS (German) and SAPA sliding door system ?

There is no technical differences but TS (German) is available faster and aluminium is coloured in Germany.

24. Do you provide bi-colour aluminium products ?

Yes, we provide bi-colour aluminium products. Avarage cost of the product in bi-colour is about 10 % higher.

25. Do you provide noise reduction glass ?

Yes, we provide noise reduction glass which in basic type gives 35dB (regular glass without noise reduction gives 31dB).

26. Do you provide 6 mm toughened to the outer pane ?

Yes, we do provide 6 mm toughened to the outer pane.

27. Do you provide through frame trickle vent for building regulations ?

Yes, we provide through frame tricle vent to comply with building regulations. Please ask about additional cost and details.

28. Do you provide site survey ?

Yes, we provide site survey done by local staff resident in London.

29. What is your delivery time ?

Delivery time depends on complexity and design requirements (which may extend lead time) from receipt of the firm order together with deposit, full and final manufacturing date, with signed contracts and and CAD drawings. In avarage it is much faster than competition do. Lead times fluctuate at peak time during the year and we would recommend you contact us to confirm the current lead time.

30. How can I provide you opening dimensions ?

We need to know what is your Structural Opening, it means what is the whole space within the wall to fit ? We provide site survey done by our local staff resident in London to support you.

31. What is the furniture of your folding door ?

All intermediate doors with internal handles only to operate shootbolt mechanism Key locking facilities to lead doors or first opening pairs, additional available upon request. Supplied with handles in standard colours: Anodised Silver or Natural Steel colour. Please check at http://www.alulantier.pl/en/Accessories

32. What are standards of your quotation ?

The quotation is subject to Lantier Technologies standard trading terms and conditions as per reverse of page and is valid for 30 days. All dimensions specified are for pricing purposes only will remain your responsibility unless a site survey is completed. Should you wish to to place an order we require a 50% deposit with confirmation of your requirements, with the balance due on delivery. Please note for all businesses orders over 20,000 GBP will require site survey, your electronic confirmation of CAD drawings and signing the contract. Any contract entered into will be subject to our own standard terms and conditions and will specifically exclude / override any other specified terms and conditions of contract.

33. What are standards of your contract ?

34. Do you provide fitting ?

Yes, we provide fitting of all of our products to a prepared opening by others.

35. Do you provide extra for key-locking facility to intermediate panels ?

Yes, we provide key-locking facility to intermediate panels. Please ask about additional cost and details.

36. Does toughened glass experience a slight visual distortion ?

Due to the heat tempered process to 4mm toughened glass, it can experience a slight visual distortion, although this is acceptable within the glazing industry and complies with safety regulations Lantier Technologies as a minimum precaution recommend 6 mm toughened to the outer pane of the sealed unit to reduce this distortion where it would be the most apparent due to natural light refraction off the glass.

37. Do you provide frameless glass door ?

Yes, we provide frameless glass door with a wide range of hinges and handles.

38. What kind of operating system do you provide within your folding doors ?

We provide Upper Running (SAPA Swidish) or Bottom Running (TS German) With Weathered Track, on Thermally Broken Aluminium Sill Section or Flush Truck Incorporating Aluminium U-Channel.

40. What kind of truck are you using for delivery and what about parking permits at the customer's site ?

We are using few types of trucks for delivery, but any time you need to check up with your local authorieties if there is posible to park a truck for offloading. Parking is assumed to be on site or provided nearby. Parking permits or parking meter suspensions will remain the customer's responsibility. 41. What is the maximum hight of sliding door ?

It depends on many technical factors but generally speaking maximum hight of sliding door is 3000mm.

42. How can I open traffic door within the folding door ?

Traffic door is one of the panels located at the right or left hand side of folding door which could be opened individually like a regular door up to 180 degree giving traffic space when you don't need to slide and open all space between living/sun room and garden. The traffic door could be fold/slide with others panels to one of the direction or could stay alone being fixed to the frame.

43. What kind of threshold do you provide ?

44. What is your gasketry colour ?

Our gasketry colour is in black only.

45. What is your hinges colour ?

Our hinges are Anodised Silver or Natural Steel. Please see at: http://www.alulantier.pl/en/Accessories

46. How could folding door and panels be opened ?

There are many manners in which panels could be opened, all could be fold/slide to the right or left hand side for instance, 3 could be slide to the left and one traffic door could stay alone, panels could be divided by two and fold/slide to the middle. There could be up to 7 panels within one folding door and there are many possibilities how they could be fold/slide. We indicate these opening manners by the formula 330, 331, 550 etc. Please see examples at: http://www.alulantier.pl/en/Folding-doors and ask about details.

47. Are you manufacturing French Doors ?

Yes, we are manufacturing French doors opening outwards or inwards. Please ask about details.

48. Are you manufacturing glass roofs for summer kitchen and sun rooms ?

Yes, we are manufacturing professional glass roofs based on the best available on the market German TS aluminium system.

49. Are you manufacturing sliding windows for kitchen ?

Yes, we are manufacturing sliding windows based on Swidish SAPA aluminium system.

50. Do you provide conservatories with fittings ?

Yes, we provide conservatories with fittings at your site prepared by others. Please ask about details how site should be prepared for fittings.

51. What threshold seals come with the door is there a choice ?

There is aluminium easy run / flat threshold. There is a choice between aluminium or plastic, 16 mm or 20 mm threshold, our standard is aluminium 20 mm threshold. Please see at : http://www.alulantier.pl/en/Folding-doors

52. What glass comes with the doors ?

You are receiving the higest quality factory double glazed sealed units to comply with all building regulations for safety and thermal efficiency in accordance with GGF UK and EU standards. Our standard is: 4 mm clear toughened with Pilkington "K" Glass x 24 mm Argon Gas Cavity x 4 mm Clear Toughened Sealed Units. 6 mm clear toughened to the outer pane is available on request or any other type you want to have got.

53. Does your prices include delivery and VAT ?

Yes, our prices include delivery to your site and include VAT.
